On Saturday, December 20, the Princeton High School varsity players, coaches and managers gave back to the community that has supported them throughout their entire high school career.
They held a clinic for the Dillon basketball players who wanted to improve their basketball skills. They worked on dribbling, passing, shooting, endurance, and to the chagrin of Coach Carter, listening skills.
It seemed as though the kids really enjoyed the clinic and were having fun. Everybody learned a little something about basketball that they can hopefully use in games and to further their basketball careers.
It also gave a chance for the varsity players to practice their coaching skills and they got a lot of practice because there was a great turnout.
Since PHS's game on Friday against Lawrence was canceled due to snow, PHS will take on Hightstown on the road on Monday, December 22.
If you want to support the team t-shirts are available to purchase. There are long sleeve Princeton High School basketball shirts in stock for $17 each in all sizes and as of January 5, short sleeve t-shirts for $12 in all sizes.
