PHS came out a little slow in the first half and had an abundance of turnovers. Florence's stingy defense frazzled the Princeton players and there were many missed layups by PHS resulting in a first half score of 18-16 in Florence's favor.
In the second half, nerves calmed, as PHS started to execute their gameplan; fast breaks, and moving the ball on offense. They hammered Florence in the second half, 30-11.
Skye Ettin led the scoring with 18 points. Brian Dunlap had 8 points and Devon Holman continued his solid play with 6 points.
On Tuesday, December 16, PHS will take on Bordentown on the road in a pre-season scrimmage.
The home opener for PHS is on Friday, December 19.
